FocusFox: Pomodoro & Sounds Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to DangNH Studio's FocusFox Android application (package com.dangnhstudio.focusfox). FocusFox values your focus and keeps your productivity data private on your own device.
Where your data is stored
Focus sessions, custom tags, daily streaks, timer durations, sound volume preferences, and appearance settings are stored strictly on your device using a local SQLite database and Android DataStore. FocusFox has no user accounts, no cloud database, and never transmits your focus data to any server.
Sensors & Flip to Focus
FocusFox uses your device's proximity and accelerometer sensors solely to detect when the phone is placed face-down on a flat surface to automatically start or pause the focus timer (Flip to Focus). Sensor data is processed entirely in real-time in memory and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
Foreground Service & Notifications
FocusFox uses an Android Foreground Service (media playback) to keep the countdown timer accurate and persistent on your notification bar when your screen is locked or while running in the background. It also provides an optional daily reminder to help you maintain your productivity habits, respecting your configured quiet hours (22:00 – 07:00).
VIFocusFox sử dụng Dịch vụ chạy nền (Foreground Service) để đảm bảo đồng hồ đếm ngược luôn chính xác và hiển thị liên tục trên thanh thông báo kể cả khi bạn khóa màn hình. App cũng cung cấp tùy chọn lời nhắc tập trung hàng ngày theo giờ bạn chọn và tuân thủ Giờ yên lặng (22:00 – 07:00).
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app displays banner ads and optional rewarded video ads via Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Watching a rewarded ad unlocks all ambient sounds and theme options for 24 hours. AdMob may collect pseudonymous identifiers (such as the advertising ID), device information, and approximate location to serve non-intrusive ads, in accordance with Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. You can customize your choices in Settings → Ad privacy options.
