100% On-device camera & photo processing
HueFox uses your device's camera and photos solely for real-time color detection and palette generation. All image frames, pixel reading, and color space calculations occur purely on-device in volatile memory. HueFox never captures, records, uploads, or transmits your camera preview or photos to any external server.
Permissions utilized
HueFox requests CAMERA runtime permission exclusively to measure colors through the live camera preview. If denied, you can still pick colors from your gallery via Android's native Photo Picker (which requires no storage permissions). HueFox does not require nor request READ_MEDIA_IMAGES or any background Foreground Service permissions.
Local data storage
All color entries, custom palettes, and user preferences are stored strictly on your device using a local SQLite/Room database and encrypted DataStore. HueFox operates completely offline and requires no user account or login.
