Permissions this app declares
QR Scan: Code & Barcode declares CAMERA, INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, VIBRATE, and AD_ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID). CAMERA is used to preview and decode a QR code or barcode. A camera is not required hardware: you can pick a photo that contains a code instead. INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE let the banner ad load and let the app see whether a network is available. VIBRATE is a short pulse when a code is read. AD_ID is declared for Google AdMob.
VIQR Scan: Code & Barcode khai báo CAMERA, INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, VIBRATE và AD_ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID). CAMERA dùng để xem trước và giải mã QR hoặc mã vạch. Scanning with CameraX and ML Kit
Codes are read with CameraX and Google ML Kit Barcode Scanning. Decoding runs offline on the device. The barcode model may download when the app is installed; scan frames are still processed on the device. The permission explanation in the app says: "All code frames are processed locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to any server." A photo you pick is decoded on the device as well. Camera frames, picked photos, and code contents are not uploaded to DangNH Studio servers.

History is optional and stays in Room
Scan history is stored only if you turn on "Save scan history". Those rows live in a Room database on the device. A row can hold rawValue, displayValue, format, valueType, title, extraData (for example fields parsed from a Wi-Fi code), createdAt, and a favorite flag. There is no account, no login, and no cloud sync of scans. You can clear the whole history on the device. While the switch is off, scans are not written into that database.

Settings kept in DataStore
Theme, the save-history switch, and the Pro flag are stored with DataStore on the device. They are not sent to DangNH Studio.

Banner ads only
Advertising is a Google AdMob adaptive anchored banner on the Scan tab and the History tab. The app does not show interstitial ads and does not show app-open ads. The banner is hidden for Pro, and it is also hidden while the result sheet is open. AdMob may use the advertising ID, where that applies, to deliver and measure the banner, under Google's policy at policies.google.com/privacy. DangNH Studio does not add its own analytics SDK. Any measurement is what AdMob and Google Play already perform for ads and purchases.

App không hiện quảng cáo xen kẽ và không hiện quảng cáo lúc mở app. Banner được ẩn với bản Pro, và cũng được ẩn khi tờ kết quả đang mở. AdMob có thể dùng mã quảng cáo, khi áp dụng, để phát và đo banner, theo chính sách của Google tại policies.google.com/privacy. DangNH Studio không gắn SDK phân tích riêng. Phần đo lường là phần AdMob và Google Play đã thực hiện cho quảng cáo và giao dịch mua.
Ad consent (UMP)
Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) asks for ad consent where Google requires that choice. Settings in the app includes Advertising Privacy Options so you can open that choice again.

Pro removes the banner
QR Scan Pro is the one-time in-app product pro_lifetime, sold through Google Play Billing. Buying it removes the banner for good. The purchase is completed in Google Play Billing, and the only record the app keeps is the local Pro flag.
VIQR Scan Pro là sản phẩm mua một lần trong app, mã pro_lifetime, bán qua Google Play Billing. Mua xong sẽ gỡ banner vĩnh viễn. Giao dịch được hoàn tất trong Google Play Billing, và thứ duy nhất app giữ lại là cờ Pro trên máy.
What DangNH Studio does not collect
Camera frames and scan payloads are not uploaded to DangNH Studio servers. DangNH Studio does not sell personal data. Google services that can process data for their own role are AdMob (the banner and AD_ID), Google Play Billing (pro_lifetime), UMP (consent), and the ML Kit barcode model download at install. Scan frames themselves stay on the device.

Deleting what is on the phone
Clear all scan history from inside the app. Uninstalling QR Scan: Code & Barcode removes the Room database and the DataStore preferences from that device.
VIXoá toàn bộ lịch sử quét ngay trong app. Gỡ QR Scan: Code & Barcode sẽ xoá cơ sở dữ liệu Room và tuỳ chọn DataStore khỏi thiết bị đó.
