VoiceFox: Voice Memo Recorder Privacy Policy
This policy applies to DangNH Studio's VoiceFox: Voice Memo Recorder Android app (package com.dangnhstudio.voicefox). VoiceFox keeps your audio recordings 100% private and stored locally on your device with fair, transparent monetization.
Where your audio and data are stored
All audio recordings, voice memos, bookmarks, category tags, audio waveforms, and custom settings you create in VoiceFox are stored strictly inside the app on your device (using local app-specific storage and an offline SQLite/Room database). VoiceFox has no cloud servers, remote databases, or external analytics backends. Your voice recordings never leave your device and are never uploaded or transmitted over the internet.
Microphone permission (RECORD_AUDIO)
VoiceFox requests access to your device's microphone exclusively to capture audio when you explicitly tap the record button. The microphone is active only during an explicit recording session initiated by you. VoiceFox never listens, records, or accesses your microphone covertly or in the background without your explicit action.
VIVoiceFox yêu cầu quyền truy cập micrô của thiết bị chỉ nhằm mục đích thu âm khi bạn chủ động nhấn nút ghi âm. Micrô chỉ hoạt động trong suốt phiên ghi âm do chính bạn khởi tạo.
Foreground Service & Persistent Recording Notification
While an active recording session is in progress, VoiceFox runs an Android Foreground Service with the 'microphone' service type (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE) and displays a visible persistent notification in your system notification drawer and lock screen. This notification displays real-time recording duration and allows you to pause, resume, or finish recording without opening the app, while preventing Android from terminating the recording process when your screen turns off. This service terminates immediately as soon as you stop or save the recording.
Audio export & System share sheet
VoiceFox allows you to export your voice recordings (M4A format) to other apps or storage locations using Android's native system share sheet. VoiceFox does not request broad external storage access permissions (such as MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE). You retain complete control over where and with whom your audio files are shared.
VIVoiceFox cho phép bạn xuất các tệp ghi âm giọng nói (định dạng M4A chất lượng cao) sang các ứng dụng khác hoặc thư mục lưu trữ thông qua bảng chia sẻ hệ thống tiêu chuẩn của Android. VoiceFox hoàn toàn không yêu cầu các quyền truy cập bộ nhớ diện rộng (như MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE). Bạn nắm toàn quyền kiểm soát nơi và đối tượng bạn muốn chia sẻ tệp âm thanh.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
VoiceFox displays non-intrusive adaptive banner ads at the bottom of the recordings library and settings screen, and occasional interstitial ads after completing a recording (paced with a cooldown period). Advertisements are strictly NEVER displayed during active recording or while listening to playback. All advertisement SDK audio is permanently muted. Google AdMob may collect device identifiers (AAID) and app interaction metrics subject to Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. You can manage ad personalization in Android Settings or via the in-app ad consent options.
