FAQ
How should I enter the names?
Put one name on each line, or separate names with commas. Blank lines and extra spaces around a name are ignored.
What does Remove picked name do?
It stays off until you check it, so a name can be drawn more than once. With Remove picked name on, Generate leaves that name out of later draws until you press Reset.
How do I split names into groups?
Choose Split into groups, set Number of groups from 2 up to the number of names, and press Split. Names are shuffled, then dealt into groups of nearly equal size.
Are the names uploaded?
No. The list stays in the page. Generate and Split run in your browser, and DangNH Studio does not receive or store the names.
Is Math.random a lottery draw?
It uses the browser's Math.random, which is fine for classrooms, meetings, and casual games. It is not a certified lottery system, so do not use it for regulated gambling.
