Which cleanups are on this page?
Remove extra spaces, remove empty lines, remove duplicate lines, uppercase, lowercase, capitalize sentences, and sort lines A to Z or Z to A. There is no find-and-replace box here.
How are duplicate lines decided?
Lines are compared after trimming. The first copy is kept. Blank lines are dropped by this action, even if you have not pressed Remove empty lines.
Can I stack more than one action?
Yes. Each button runs on the current output, so you can sort and then change case. Typing in the input box clears that output and starts again from the new text.
What do the three counters include?
Words split on whitespace, characters including spaces, and lines. They follow the output when one exists, otherwise the input. This page does not count sentences or estimate reading time.
Does the text leave my browser?
No. Cleanup and the counts run on your device. Copy writes the current output, or the input if you have not run an action yet.
